Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born on the 16th of April 1997 in Miami Florida. The mother of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father is an Argentine who is of Scottish as well as English heritage. Her mother is Spanish-English. Four of her siblings belong to her father's ex-married partners. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, after which the family relocated to Victoria in London. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult and she didn't learn English in hopes of going home to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she moved from Northlands. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. At the age of sixteen, Taylor-Joy resigned from the school to focus her full-time acting profession. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to work as an actor. As a teenager, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the possibility to be a model.
