Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a popular American after winning American Idol's inaugural season. It brought her to fame and earned her the contract of RCA Records 19 Recordings, as well as 'S Records. Since her debut in the series, she has released a number of albums. From those, three made it to the top of the US Billboard 200. The other albums were also close to reaching the top position. She is considered one of most successful American Idol artists. To be successful she experimented with different genres of music and experimented with subjects. For her uniqueness and vocal prowess, she received high praise and various awards. Most notably she has won the Grammy Award three times. Alongside her music career, she also has been involved in television and film.
