Torrie Anne Wilson (born July 24 1975) is an American former professional wrestler and model. Her most well-known accomplishments are her participation as a member of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE, earlier known as the World Wrestling Federation).As an athlete in fitness, Wilson won the Miss Galaxy contest in 1999. [1][8] Shortly after, she was accepted by World Championship Wrestling (WCW) which she was with from 1999 to 2000. [2][7][8] In 2001, she started appearing in World Wrestling Federation (WWF) television as part of The Invasion (by WCW, of the [then-] WWF) storyline. [5] She was most famous in her feud with Dawn Marie ([7][8]) Dawn Marie ([7][8]) and Sable ([5][9]). Wilson is also part of the stable comprised entirely of females (i.e. it's a collection of characters who are storyline-related), known as Vince's Devils and ended its run in 2006.Aside from professional wrestling, Wilson has been on the cover of several magazines that include FHM and Playboy (which Wilson posed for two times, the second time featuring Wilson and Sable).Wilson was admitted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 Wilson's start in wrestling came when she attended an World Championship Wrestling (WCW) show with her boyfriend back in 1999. After the show, she was asked to walk backstage and take to the ring alongside Scott Steiner. [7] Later, Kevin Nash expressed an desire to write a storyline with her. She first appeared on the February 8th, 1999 episode of Nitro (later named "Samantha"). The storyline was that Wilson was hired to seduce David Flair by the New World Order. The two appeared together on February 21 at SuperBrawl IX when Wilson slapped Ric before David hit the Taser. [15] Ric won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. He was filming by Hollywood Hogan at Uncensored in the Barbed Wire Steel Cage. David and Wilson later took a break from WCW television until May. They returned to the ring in May to watch matches. At the 1999 Bash at the Beach, Wilson was the valet for Flair when he won the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Dean Malenko.
