Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan or Sundar Picha (Indian-American business executive) is more well-known. [6] He serves as the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc.'s subsidiary Google. Born in Madurai, India.[4] Pichai graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a degree in metallurgical engineering. When he moved to the United States, he attained an M.S. He earned a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University. He also completed an MBA from the Wharton School of Pennsylvania. After a brief stint with McKinsey, Pichai moved to Google in 2004. In Google, he was responsible for the creation of Google Drive as well as innovation and product management. Additionally Pichai went on to supervise the development of additional applications such as Gmail as well as Google Maps. Pichai declared in 2010 that Google had made the codec for video VP8 open source and also announced WebM, a new video format. In 2012 the Chromebook was introduced. Pichai added Android to the Google products he managed in 2013.
